Abstrac

To provide an understanding of the properties of anticorrosion paints then demonstrate the technique of application, control and defect detection, with practical exercises to aid their assimilation. The course also covers standards, specifications and current safety regulations.

• Preparation of surfaces

• Paint defects, causes, control procedures
• Remedial action and repair techniques
• Consideration of specifications and rules to be observed
• Tests performed on painted metals

Objective
to Provide a broader knowledge of the properties of anticorrosion paints and a better understanding of the techniques of application required to get an effective and durable anticorrosion system. On completion of course, participant know :

• The caracteristics of the main types of industrial paints
• How to set an inspection procedure of products, preparation of surface, application tests perfomed on painted metals.
