PENGANTAR TRAINING
Siapapun di antara kita pernah marah. Beragam cara orang bereaksi ketika emosinya tersinggung. Dalam prosesnya ada orang marah yang mudah segera mengendalikan dirinya, namun ada juga yang sukar. Ketika seseorang marah maka detak debar jantung semakin cepat, tekanan darah dan aliran adrenalin juga meningkat. Kemarahan yang tidak terkendali dapat menyebabkan reaksi agresif dan perlakuan kasar yang akan mengganggu interaksi sosial positif.
Marah merupakan sifat yang alami dan normal, namun marah tidak timbul dengan sendirinya. Kemarahan muncul karena batas-batas emosi yang kita miliki telah terganggu atau terancam baik oleh sumber eksternal maupun sumber internal. Marah sebenarnya dapat berguna karena itu sebaiknya tidak dipendam sebab akan merusak emosi. Marah bisa memotivasi seseorang untuk memecahkan masalah tertentu yang sebelumnya tersembunyi karena marah bisa memberi sinyal mana yang dirasakan sebagai sesuatu yang benar dan mana yang salah. Namun demikian, konflik-konflik secara bertahap bisa diatasi dengan emosi yang tenang. Itulah sebabnya mengapa marah sebaiknya dikelola menjadi hal yang konstruktif.
