DESCRIPTION
Maintenance planning and control involves many decisions, irrespective of whether it is a major or small program. What to do, and when to do maintenance are complex questions with many possible solutions relying upon a wide range of information and processes. The need is to make the most rational decision, even though it may not be optimal because you don’t have enough information. This course focuses on the qualitative and quantitative aspects of planning and controlling maintenance programs. Tutorial sessions are used to consolidate course material.

- Manage routine corrective, as well as large scale preventive maintenance activities
