Hotel UNY, Yogyakarta | Senin-Rabu, 25 – 27 Maret 2013 | 08.00 – 16.00 WIB | Rp. 7.500.000 per peserta
ABSTRACK
Economic and financial analysis of power plant improvement projects is likely to become more important over time. Particularly as utilities consider plant life extension, project choices will become more numerous: modification versus total replacement; replacement-in-kind versus upgrade; and immediate action vs delayed implementation. As life extension competes with other options for investment dollars, project risk analysis can help utilities improve investment decisions. This report applies project risk analysis techniques to life extension. For a sample project, a series of three increasingly sophisticated analyses is presented. The examples demonstrate the value of risk analysis and illustrate the techniques. The analyses can be done very efficiently – all of the risk analyses were performed with a microcomputer spreadsheet
